Alabama hosts back to back weekend series vs the #1 team in America - happened before?

I'd imagine it has, and in all likelihood it was somebody in the SEC given the depth of elite teams in the league historically.

Anybody remember a time when it happened?

Hope Alabama can treat this #1 the same. But Texas A&M has a better offense.

Our defense isn't too bad either...only gave up 6 runs in three games against a top-ten Vanderbilt team. At any rate, it should be a GREAT series.
