some of these same posters were griping about the "frick Saban" chant a few weeks ago.

Not me. lol

I wont complain about this either.

People telling Bama fan or LSU fan for that matter, to act with class, hilarious.

It doesn't romanticize any rival. They grew up on Lookout Mountain. Northeast Alabama and southeast TN were their stomping grounds. Chattanooga was where you went to get tail on Saturdays.

Actually, the song was written by a Tennessean, Ronnie Rodgers. And if you think it doesn't romanticize the state of a Tennessee then you haven't listened to the song.

The state is not our rival. Just some orange-clad yokels from bastions of wealth and culture as Hancock County.

Maybe bama will start playing "Tennessee Jed" or "Tennessee Waltz" next. I know I'd be pissed if UT played some song about alabama

Written by a Tennessean romanticizing a weekend in backwoods Tennessee with his girl. I mean, Tennessee is mentioned like 5 times in the song. I can't blame y'all for playing it, it's a great song. It just happens to be about Tennessee

Also, my wife and I had four kids at the stadium on Saturday
, and when that song/cheer is as clear as it was at that game, it is difficult to justify. I shouldn't be put in that position at an Alabama game. Everything else, the energy, the music, the volume, the bands, was great. I know, old as frick, fogey, etc., etc., etc.
