Well, that sucks. What happened in the other 20 polls?

The fans that think Bama is going to be some 8-4 middle of the pack team are ignoring history, resources and the addition to winning that exists in Tuscaloosa

Kinda like from 1996-2008?

Where Alabama had an impressive 49.7% win percent?

Lololol.

Bummer, not exactly top-5 material.

Better luck going forward in the next 130 polls.

What kind of math is that? Alabama was 75-66 from 1996-2008.

No point in going into why Alabama struggled between Stallings and Saban. That's well documented. But it sure wasn't because it's the norm in Tuscaloosa.

It took 2 probations and Mike Dubose + Mike Shula to make Alabama crummy.

If you're counting on that again, ya'll in for some disappointment.

The norm for the past 100 years has been Alabama at or near the top of the SEC.

One can't be great at everything. Find the thing you are good at and stick with it!

I just hate that I don't get to see it on mobile, which I post from 99% of the time. I don't remember who cropped it, but I laugh whenever I do see it.

First, that isn't what the winning % was during that time. Try again b/c math isn't your strength.

Second, during that time from 1996 - 2008 Bama had 5 coaches, 15 scholarship reductions due to probation. Do you honestly see that happening again when Saban leaves?

Third, even during that horrid stretch - the worst at Bama in 50 years - they won 10+ games 3 times, won the SEC championship once, the West 3 times, and were STILL able to attract the best available coach at the end of that stretch due to history, resources, and a commitment to winning.
