Has anyone heard this? I heard that when Cam made a long run he would play the Song " Take the Money and Run" and when he was warming up he played "Son of a Preacher"

Priceless if he did play them in the stadium!!

He played both songs prior to the game. Cam didn't have any "long runs". That being said...

Fired the "part time" employee. LOL. I'm sure it was worth it to play it and get fired.

Am I the only Auburn fan that wasn't offended by this. It is kind of funny, not really offensive and part of what makes the Iron Bowl one of the best rivalries. We were playing at BDS, why wouldn't they do something like this? The guy shouldn't be fired and Bama has nothing to apologize for, IMO.

Well, I guess another thing that makes the Iron Bowl such a great rivalry is that everything gets blown out of proportion and neams more than it should.

I wonder if the guy's contract that they terminated was for him to play music during all of Alabama's home football games this year. If so, I am sure he didn't take the firing too hard.

I'm not as offended by it as I have portrayed. Chances are that the majority of the players probably still had their headphones on and didn't hear it. I just like pointing out the hypocrisy of some tards on here that think Cam blowing kisses to the sky, laying on the ground & celebrating in the stands makes him a classless thug...but laugh at this.

That's a fair point.

I'm not offended. It was unprofessional, though. He probably should have been fired.

I just think his name should have been released so all of the internet sleuths could investigate his past and blast it all over the internet for people to ridicule. See how many times he's been pulled over, any DUIs, etc. He could keep his $50 a week gig.

I think it is more of a P.R. move by Bama.

It is hard to believe that just some random "part-time" employee has FULL control over what is put out on the loud speakers in the stadium. It just seems like other people would have had to approve it or could have stopped it.
