Why are we screwed?

Losing the sec offensive player of the year is kind of a big deal.

No more screwed than any other school would be.

I understand this, but usually it's next man up for bama. You guys are known for your depth, now you have a true freshman with zero depth at one of the most important positions on the field.

Until further notice, Bateman and Cornwell are still on the team.

I think Stewart could manage. We would actually run the damn ball.

A true freshman has a firm grasp on the starting job. Both that have announced their transfers have lost more than 1 QB competition.

A lot of players announce their intent at the end of the year. Alec Morris did the same this month last year, having their grad transfer year to freely move onto a better situation for themselves.

Barnett left because he was outplayed, even if he was Kiffin's favorite. A switch couldn't have been justified. He was the only one closest to Hurts, but didn't do anything to gain traction back.

There's 2 freshman coming in, which would have further cluttered the depth chart. The one who doesn't get a redshirt would be better served getting playing time over them.

Your question is valid and has an easy answer. I just find this inquiry weird because it comes from someone who's team has no QB that's scary enough to run off anybody. Why do you care about Alabama's situation so much...? Don't you have a bowl game to worry about?

Only one qb plays dawg. All these guys were 4 and 5 stars. Wanna get to the NFL so go somewhere they can play. Simple as that.

Not a lot to say. True freshman starter. Change in philosophy. Another elite talent coming in January that fits the new offensive philosophy.

ITAT is leaking. Is there a state mental health facility in Lee county? Do you need some help buddy? I'm sure someone on here is close enough to you to help you out around the house if you're not being looked after.

Auburn fans on the SECRant, you need to step up and help one of your own.

Because the process is preached and no position is ever locked down. That's why the players come in and sit behind other five stars because there's always a competition at the position. I just find it weird that every backup is gone, besides the walk-on. I'm assuming he's a walk-on.

You know what's more weird than that? AU going to the Sugar Bowl.

You're welcome.

Maybe they're all just want to go run the whirlybird for Gus?

Keeps your hopes in check, Barnett is going to ASU and neither Cornwell nor Bateman want to go back and run a HS offense.
