With this much concern over the term "Bama," one of two things is going on (and maybe a little of both):
1. You take yourself WAY too seriously, or
2. Bama's all up in your noggin.

It would bother me more if recruits constantly called the school by the wrong name.
Bama is fine with me. So is gump. I don't even mind gilmer. I've even gotten used to barners calling us "bammer" or bammers, although I think it sounds dumb. But at least it let's me know that the other person is a CFB fan (even if they are a damn booger eating sister fricking trailer park living barner).
