However him trying to debate me would be hilarious. I wonder if he'd either fall to the carpet in a frothing fit, or just have a stroke from the extreme blood pressure spike.

I don't like the term Bama and say either Alabama or UA when talking about the team or school respectively, but I don't see it as anything more than a shortened form of the state's name.

What these jokers on that radio are talking about is just silly.

I think the term Bama insinuates some derogatory meaning. I hear "Bama" and think of some dumb, redneck, sidewalk fan. Alabama is definitely the term I would use during conversation with an Alabama fan that I even remotely respected.
