Maybe one day LSU will have a coach that can reach that level of success and you can be proud of him for generations. Until then, enjoy your three total championships, which is 1/2 of what Bryant won while coaching at Bama. Tradition is something to be proud of. Surely LSU fans know that.

Keep on believing you "got 13" Just know that every time you Gumps claim that bullshite number, most people are laughing and rolling their eyes.

So which of Bryant's titles do you laugh and roll your eyes at?

the fan bases for all three teams have the mind set of, "we are never losing a game ever." Gets kind of rediculous and in within itself is insulting.

Interesting since I have seen the same types of posts from LSU fans. I have seen many LSU fan posts say Bama and LSU have the rest of the season off till Nov 5th. I have seen it both ways.

In defense why would a fan of an undefeated team not feel confident their team will win every game. The way each team has dominated I would be weak not to feel my team will remain undefeated.

For instance I have no doubt Auburn wins out and goes 11-2 for the year. No way any team can handle the trio of Trotter, Benton, and Wisner. Not ONE team.

As a matter of fact, yes I have. In both old and new Yankee Stadiums.

I was there to enjoy the evening, watch baseball, and drink a couple of beers. Didn't bother to take a poll.

Of course you're going to find LSU fans saying we are the best when you are on...Tigerdroppings.com.

You're not seeing the point I'm making at all

This ties in with the whole "rational conversation" thing I was talking about.

Did LSU even have a football team 30 years ago? I can't find anything relevant on them before the 2000's

So what is the requirement to claim a National Championship? Does it have to be unanimous? If so, then LSU's 2003 doesn't count. Help me understand.

Most people readily recognize at least 8 for Bama since the AP started awarding it in 1936, which is second most to only Notre Dame's 9 NC's over that time. Bama won it in 61, 64, & 65, but doesn't claim it in 66 even though they went undefeated and were the two-time defending National Champ.

Why don't you actually have some knowledge about the subject matter before running your mouth? I've stated many times that I actually only claim 8, but the whole "got 13" is funny to me b/c of how people like you predictably respond to it.

What is your point? I wasn't talking about the Bama fans that actually attend games. I'm referring to the thousands of mouth breathers that I encounter daily who couldn't point out Tuscaloosa on a map if you narrowed the search field for them, but are the first to line up for t-shirts, hats, and window flags at the Dollar General after every Gump win.

I think they had an undefeated team back in the 50s. Is there an LSU poster from that era that can still fog a mirror?

It wasn't a joke. It was a classless insult. Do you speak of your dead friends and family that way?
