V-Tech lost by a meager 10 and that Bama team was better than this years.

2013 Virginia Tech is vastly inferior to their '09 team. VASTLY.

And '09 Bama better than '13 Bama? That remains to be seen. '09 is surely nowhere near as talented as '13. That's for damn sure.

No. A good 75% thought they would lose, hence the adamant support for Oklahoma State. Less than 1% was willing to admit this. Difference between what you think will happen and what you admit. False bravado isn't just an lsu problem though.

Agree x 1,000%

This will be a blowout of epic proportions. Might be the worst viewership in Chic-fil-a kickoff history.

Yea, everyone outside of college station thought that. Congrats on the good year. That's not an example of false bravado though. A good example of that is that most of you know deep down that Alabama is going to stomp a mudhole in aggies arse.

Last year, deep down, most of you believed you would beat bama. That's commendable. The aggies attitude today is very similar to the tigers attitude from December of 2011. You know what's coming, but you don't want to believe it.

I'm saying a senior qb is deadly. Thomas is not as good as glennon, but I'm just trying to humble.

What does Sean Glennon have anything to do with the 2013 Alabama-Virginia Tech game? You do know Glennon's been out of football for the last 5 years, don't you?

Glennon is a bad example considering he only started two games his senior year before being replaced by Tyrod Taylor.

Senior QB's have been deadly when we used them...for us.

See Jerrod Johnson 2010, Stephen McGee 2008, Reggie McNeal 2005, Mark Farris 2002, Randy McCown 1999, Corey Pullig 1995, Bucky Richardson 1992, Kevin Murray 1988...

Every senior QB we've started the season with as starter has either gotten hurt or had a horribly disappointing year compared to the season's expectations.

I completely disagree.

2013 WR Corps > 2009 WR Corps

2013 Safeties > 2009 Safeties

2013 CBs = 2009 CBs

2013 LBs > 2009 LBs, and I don't think it's all that close.

2009 DL >/= 2013 DL (Cody and Dareus were on that 09 squad)

Just my opinion of course. The OLs could be close as well if this one reaches it's potential. At QB it isn't even close. Yeldon might be better than Ingram, but after Yeldon no one is truly proven.

Oh, well...two things:

1) We have a 5th year senior starting at QB
2) Our team is vastly more talented than theirs

Maybe if they had not had so many injuries.
