Alabama dominating the stat sheet right now

They are 10-0, SEC West champs, and are currently #1 in the conference in these major categories:
- Total Offense
- Scoring Offense
- Total Defense
- Scoring Defense
If (and I do mean IF) we finish the season a perfect 15-0, I put it to you that this might be the greatest team in SEC football history.

Then who would you put #1 if Alabama maintains?

Nope. The SEC was so mediocre this season it doesn't make this team's accomplishments that impressive.

Just because you hate it doesn't mean it's not true. Enjoy the greatness you are witnessing.

2011 LSU would make this bama team quit

Oh, that's right, I keep forgetting that Alabama is perennially "overrated".

Well list who you think the best team ever in the sec and list their schedule and results.

Uh nope, this Bama Defense is just as good or close enough to the 11 defense that it would shut 11 L6u down. This Bama offense would score on 11 L6U . Bama would win, it would be close I'd say Bama 13 L6U 6

You're basing this off stats against the 2016 SEC, which is dog shite compared to 2011.
The honey badger may have actually killed jalen hurts

The SEC in 2011 wasn't that much better.

I kid, I kid. The Honey Badger has come back in a major positive way. Very happy for him, wish there were a lot more success stories like his.

One of the best; however, your 1992 team was sick. That was a really good Miami team that you embarrassed too.

Great D in 92, but mediocre at best O.

Honestly, why bother starting these threads? People who support your team will agree vociferously because they want to believe. People who hate your team will disagree even more vociferously because they don't want to believe. And since it's purely hypothetical, both sides will be equally right and equally wrong.

There may be an argument for it, but none of that will matter if they don't win a championship.
Then, they'll just be another one if the best teams to never win.
That said, this team does have the highest S&P+ Rating (arguably the best total team efficiency indicator) since it was developed in 2005.

1961 Bama. They gave up 32 points in 11 games. They went the last seven games without giving up a TD. Think about that. Averaged giving up 70 yards passing and 50 yards rushing per game.
