Yes he made a very dumb decision, but remember he is just a kid, and having fun at college. Isn't that what we say about "Little Johnny Football"? He has been seen drinking and who knows if he left the place driving his car. Seems to be no pictures to prove a lot of things.
I in no what approve of what Geno did, but let's keep our perspective on this. Punish the kid and let him move on. Thankfully he or no one else was hurt, but let's face it, kids put people in danger every day when they drive and text. I hate it, and the police in Tuscaloosa do absolutely nothing about it, and that's against the law also.

I sort of agree, except that part about JFF nt breaking the law. He got locked up for a fight or something last year.

This is geno's first strike of any kind though so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that he can straighten up. It's the multiple frick ups that get me. 1 chance, cool. 2 chances, eh, if they aren't major. 3 chances, frick that, GTFO.

That's just me though. I fell genuinely embarrassed when this type of shite happens.

My buddy works directly for Kirby on the defensive staff. As of now it's looking like an "indefinite suspension" but he thinks they're leaning to 4 games.

He also said that from an athletic standpoint Cyrus > Fulton, but Fulton has a better grasp of the playbook. This is how the coaching staff sees it. Not ground breaking news but its as inside as I can get.

His info comes sporadically since he's basically sleeping 3-4 hours a night maximum so I try not to bug him too much

Cecil Hurt ? @ CecilHurt 21m

We will see what Saban says, but I won't be shocked if the Geno Smith situation is handled like Michigan handled Fitz Toussaint last year.

He missed Michigan's opening game last year. One game.
