Alabama becomes 2nd team to ever be in CFP and be in the NCAA Final Four same year

The athletic year runs from Sept/2023 to June/ 2024.
Alabama was in the 2023 CFP and is now in the 2024 Final Four. Congratulations to the Crimson Tide!
Previously, Oklahoma was the first and only school to have a spot in the CFP and the Final Four during the same season and this was in the 2015-2016 athletic season. The Sooners were in the 2015 CFP's and were in the 2016 Final Four.
Georgia remains the only school to have ever WON two CFPs in-a-row!!
Congratulations to all three SEC schools!!

How is this in any way relevant to a post about multi-sport excellence in the same season? Has UGA basketball ever even made the tournament in the same season UGA football made the playoffs?

I do not believe this is accurate.
Oklahoma’s 2015 CFP was for the 2015 College football season. Their Final Four was the following school year.
