why?

It may help auburn for the first drive or two, but players' emotions tend to wane after that. The main reason I don't think Auburn's home field advantage hurts Alabama is because the crowd will be quiet when we are on defense. Will be easier for them to make calls against an Auburn team that likes to play quickly. Also this isn't week 1. Our OL has better chemistry now and with a veteran like AJ at QB, we should be able to work well with a silent count.

but after watching LSU and MSU against bama's D and Bama's offense against MSU's D I think Bama is beatable.

Strange conclusion to come to seeig as how We completely shut down LSU in the second half, and we held MSU to under 200 yards of total offense.

And we rushed for over 200 yards against MSU. Turnovers killed us but dont expect us to turn the ball over 5 times against AU.

There really is no advantages one way or the other. Maybe Auburn at home, a true off-week and all the pressure is on Bama. But their strengths and weaknesses matchup evenly.

Put the crack pipe down, brah.

Bama 41-13

Does Auburn have the D to stop Bama?

Does Auburn have the offense to consistently move the ball on Bama?

What are the weaknesses of each team?

AU- back 7 on defense, QB, offensive play calling and in-game adjustments, inconsistent WR play

AL- lack of focus by OL sometimes, cyrus jones at DB, lack of physical play by OL sometimes, AJ throwing too short on third downs, Nuss calling three yard routes on 3rd and 9. CJones making bad decisions with punt returns.

Bama has killed AU the last five years with the underneath crossing pattern, curious to see if AU finally schemes for it this year and is able to stop it.

Best matchup for AU: DL vs OL
Best for Bama: AJ/WRs/TE vs AU secondary, also expect a couple of big/key rb screens.
