Green should not be allowed back on this team.
Depends on what they did. If they got caught smoking some weed or snuck out to a bar last night, then they should all be allowed to come back for UF. Otherwise, he probably needs to be out for good.

I haven't said otherwise.
It doesn't sound good, but in the end we still have no idea what actually happened. If it was bad maybe he should be gone.
I would be surprised to see them back for Florida. Just going by Grant's statement which seemed pretty strong.

Wasn't he suspended once already this year on top of his suspension last year?

He was suspended last year after the Virgin Islands tournament. Hasn't been suspended this year.

No. He missed some time with an injury, but he has been on the bench or dressed out for every game this year.
It really all depends on what exactly they did. I just hope it was something pretty benign like weed or running up a $500 hotel bill with room service and long distance prank calls.

Green is the most important guy to get back
I know releford has had somewhat of a sophomore slump, but I still think he is the most needed.
Gueye will get better, and if engstrom could put together a few minutes of ball, wed be ok in the post area.

Some people said he wasn't that injured and that Grant was sitting him again for lack of consistent effort.

I don't think we'll be ok in the post if he doesn't come back. I think we'd beat Auburn and maybe sneak another win but the post defending and rebounding would be pretty bad.
Gueye is a fricking foul a minute and just awkward. Will he improve with additional time? Probably, but how much? Engstrom at this point looks better.
Jacobs is pretty good offensively for a freshman but is a below average post defender and not a good rebounder.
None of those guys are good on the boards or in post defense. Not yet, at least.

Who are these people? The simple answer is he was dealing with nagging injuries. If he wanted to suspend Jamychal, then obviously he would just suspend him. As he has done twice now.

Engstrom looked really good tonight. He looked good against Auburn too. He has figured out how to avoid picking up constant fouls, and he made some good passes.

Yeah I agree he's improved, but his post defense is still a bit lacking.
I wonder where he'll be in a year or two. He's reasonably athletic actually, for a 7 footer. He's got some potential.

He had one pretty good possession on defense. He forced Hamilton into a turnover. Obviously there's still a lot of work to do there though. Hopefully that comes with experience. He is starting to earn a few more minutes.
My expectations going into this year were always that he would be able to play ~10 solid minutes next year, and then maybe be a starter or the first or second guy off the bench as a senior. He looked like crap early on and I started to hope that he would just be able to contribute as a senior, but now he seems to have maybe had a light come on. It would be nice if he could really improve his defense and rebounding in the offseason. He could be an asset for us with Green being gone one way or the other.

If Grant does not sign a quality post player next year is going to be more of the same. Green is obviously a problem guy and he is not going to be there next year. Might as well get rid of him and get the guys minutes who are going to be there next year.

With all of your starters in you should have won by 43.7. Maybe the Tide sucks balls too.

How the Tiger Rant ALWAYS looks after an LSU basketball loss.

Most of the people in here complaining I've never seen in a game day thread before.

It's because fans on message boards get more pleasure out of bitching about things going wrong. This applies for LSU, Bama, every fanbase.
It reminds me of the Louis CK quote. "Everything's amazing and nobody is happy."
