The only reason anyone would claim Kentucky is a better basketball program than UCLA is that they are a Kentucky fan. It's obvious by any metric you want to look at. It's not like Kentucky has been consistently dominant since the beginning of time. They sat out about 3 decades starting in the 60's.

I guess we should ignore that we've won 400 more games than them? You are clearly well educated on the subject. Please, enlighten us!

That is part of program. None of the other blue blood teams have any thing close to the type of attendance issues UCLA has even in their worst down years.

You will find plenty on of non-biased people out there that will tell you exactly that.

Based on what? Their feelings? Because any rational metric says it's UCLA. Your'e the one with a lack of basketball intelligence. I'm quoting history.

and none of those programs compete with major professional sport franchises. LA is a pro city, like every single major metropolitan area in this country. Nor do any of those programs have to deal with a 2nd major college athletc program in their same city. That has shite to do with the programs accomplishments

No. It. Doesn't.

If you want to say UCLA had the greatest dynasty in basically any sport ever then go right ahead. That is perfectly reasonable.'

That one number doesn't suddenly mean they are best program of all time.

How many fricking people live in that area. A blue blood program should at least sort of fill up the damn arena.

And again by using UCLA's math, Kentucky has the same number of championships. Being an Alabama guy I figure you'd understand something about this process. So what exactly is it they are dominating us at? Because we own them head to head and have won 400 more games. You're a real bright one, I'll tell you what.

if you want to say that UCLA hasn't had as much success since their run which keeps them from being the GOAT that's fine, but to say the program isn't one of the blue bloods is just idiotic

Precisely. Would anyone on here argue the Patriots are the best NFL franchise?

Which is what most normal people that have any appreciation of the sports history would tell you.

It is just an odd blue blood because of certain things that sort of add why it shouldn't be considered the best program.

it is such a different dynamic. The city isn't a college town. They care about the Lakers and the dodgers. USC has always had issues filling up the coliseum when they aren't playing ND or any high profile opponent. That doesn't make them any less of a football program

The point is UCLA is not a better program than Kentucky. If you want to be a blue blood try showing up more than once in 100 years.

It's just weird. Last year it says y'all barely hit the 8,000 number in avg attendance. That is less than Bama had in Grant's last season.
