Why do people post just to post? At least mention all the former LSU players that were NFL QB superstars...Besides Bert Jones having 1 good year in the farkin' 70's

Well if Saban doesn't trust him on 3rd and long in college, I don't see him succeeding in the NFL in similar circumstances. He's mobile but he doesn't have great pocket awareness. He doesn't do a very good job progressing through his reads and keeping the play alive. He under throws most of his deep balls, even the one to Cooper in the SECCG, the only reason it was on point was because Cooper gave up on the route then still ran it down in stride.

He very often gets the ball out late in routes.

He's still better than 90% of the QBs in college, and he's been great at Bama but he isn't anywhere close to being a capable NFL starter.

I'd be worried about losing some of my Top OL.

Last time Bama replaced 3 OL (2009), we went 14-0 and won the BCSNC.

Of those 3 OL we replaced, 1 was top 10 pick Andre Smith and the another was Antione Caldwell. Both start in the NFL today.

OL will never be a concern at Bama with Saban.

AJM will be a clipboard holder in the NFL

I don't care how many clipboards he holds in the league. As long as he successfully completes a natty 3 peat, along with a LSU 3 peat, I am happy. Bleeeee Dat.

In McCarron's defense, Cooper thought he had been sacked. That's why he slowed down. Then, when he saw the ball launched into the air, he sped back up and took it in stride.

I hear he's staying to get his sweet chest tattoo worked on some more. Good luck AJ, find an tattoo artist that isn't legally blind.

y'all think running off McCleod would have any effect on Tyren Jones? UGA would really appreciate it if we could have him.

No impact.

He may not be an NFL quarterback, but the only thing that matters is he beat you, LSU. Roll Tide
