I don't even care enough to argue about this. I've already wasted enough time in this stupid thread.

Bills fans are stupid and know precisely jack about football and should stick to Toothless Canadian Icecapades.

These guys , among others, think Jim Kelly was pretty good.

The fact that he had to face the Cowboys in the SB should be something the Bills fans might want to think about. In fact, Jim Kelly is not far behind Dan Marino on the list of best qbs to not win a SB. Some people just can't set the emotion aside and evaluate a player fairly. Cowboys idiots do that with Tony Romo and forget about the craptastic OL, defense, pretty much the entire team run by an idiot hillbilly with NO football knowledge. But Romo's the QB, so it must be his fault.

So who is better in your eyes, Dan Marino or Eli Manning? Dude with all the stats, or dude with two rings.

Or which do you let lead your team into the championship?

In his prime? Dan Marino. Eli is a great QB, don't get me wrong (take your fingers off the triggers, black bears). Did you ever watch Marino play in his prime? Look at his stats. He only sucked in the last few years because he tried to hang on too long.

Elway was pretty good too. He won 3 conference championships with an average D, no running game, and two dwarfs for receivers. When he finally got all the pieces to the puzzle to got two SB's.

What if in the championship game Marino threw for 5 TD's, no picks, Eli threw two and a pick, but Eli wins the game, who's team would you rather be on?

Eli's or Dannys?

...but the point is...let's not lose the point...

The point is, while a QB has to be solid to win a championship, some really good QBs don't get the opportunity to win, or simply fall short. Jim Kelly was able to lead his team to 4 Superbowl appearances. That's not a fluke. Bills fans are kidding themselves if they think Jim Kelly wasn't good enough.

AJ is a great QB and is likely the best. I just think the guy in the OP article is trying to rustle jimmies and up his web hits. I can name several QBs that are (arguably) as good or maybe better than AJ. That doesn't mean I am right.

That's different. It was not a question of which team is better, rather the best QB. Obviously, I would rather be on the winning team. That doesn't make Eli better than Dan. I guess I don't understand what point you are trying to make.

Say this scenario plays out like this for 5 straight years, It would become clear that someone is clutch, and someone is not.

You think stats make you great, I think its championships. This is why we dont see eye to eye.

I agree that somebody is clutch and somebody is not. Apparently, it has little to do with the guy under center.

What makes you the best, championships or stats?
