Sims
Great awareness in the pocket (avoided a bunch of sacks) and he was a good scrambler.

Watching Coker grow as a player this year was just great. When he took over in the OM game he was not very polished. But he grew as the season went along. People were saying that he was a weakness but he just kept getting better and better. By the LSU game he was lights out.
We had a third down play in the red zone. He called a crossing route to the white boy. The pass he threw was as good as it gets. Between two defenders on a line with heat.
That was when I quit worrying about our qb.
Just wish he had another year or two.

AJ for me. I never enjoyed the feeling of not knowing if Coker or Sims could come from behind to win the game. With AJ I always knew we had a chance.

I gained a lot of respect for AJ when he won the game in BR in 2012. I think that was after the A&M game. He showed some guts.

then Obviously AJ>Coker (of course Coker has the hardware)
AJ has two championships and a Unitas Award. Coker has 1 championship.
I'll go with AJ for his consistency. Three years in a row AJ did exactly what he was supposed to do and improved as a passer year after year. Coker had a magical season, but his skills as a passer are far less than AJ's. He has great arm strength though.
Blake had a great season, and in a vacuum without considering the end result, one of the best in Alabama history. However, it is hard to deny how much Lane and Cooper helped that offense. Cooper was a force that year.
AJ
Sims
Coker

Previous black QB's that started games at BAMA:
Walter Lewis (All SEC), Vince Sutton, Danny Woodson, Andrew Zow and Blake Sims.
David Palmer played QB one year vs Ole Myth because our starter was hurt.
I may be forgetting some others that started.

Don't feed into it. let's not try to steer this off topic.

Three of my favorites, but in terms of who I enjoyed watching the most I've gotta go AJ. He was the only one in Heisman contention and that always adds a layer of fun when watching a player. You want him to do that much better to increase his chances. Granted, AJ winning was always a long shot.

Sims is my dude. He will always be my favorite.

sims threw the nicest deep ball ive seen at bama in a while, and he made that oline look alot better in pass pro numbers. i really kinda wish we could have gotten to see him with a second year of starting (same with coker, he only got to scratch his potential, but the difference from the beginning of the season to the end was insane)

Its amazing what Saban's got out of his QBs. Every QB under his watch has some kind of title, conference or national.

Really? The 2014 team came back a few times to win games and I think 2015 did as well. Those two teams felt like "Never Say Die" watching them play. The AJ and GMac years always felt like we'd better never get down, because if we did, we were sunk.

I enjoyed watching Sims and Coker a lot more.

Yep, even the games that we lost in 2014 ended on potential game tying plays.

Love both. Ask me about effectiveness and results.

I enjoyed watching Ohio State plant their fat cock in little Miss Blake Sims' arse.
