My question is: why use an LSU logo? Is he that embarrassed to be an aggie fan? (not a rhetorical question despite it sounding like one lol)

We both chased the money. Only TAMU pushed for assurances that the SEC wouldn’t take a school that had abused them throughout their history.

He's already gone out of his way to mention Texas in every thread this morning (despite those threads being nothing about Texas).
I have a feeling he's lying and just bitter because he's watched those two teams own A&M (where he most likely actually attended) his whole life

Reasons for A&M to listen to the Big 10 pitch:
1. More money
2. More prestigious academic schools in the affiliation
3. Like a job offer - it's kind to listen when someone is working so hard to get you.
Reason for A&M to reject the offer:
1. Everything else. Why would we want to play Michigan and Rutgers and Northwestern rather than LSU and Texas and Arkansas?
Ultimately, there is less than zero chance of A&M accepting their attempt to get our attention.

That's right. But TAMU was smart enough to get the head start. The SEC doesn't care about petty squabbles either way. You have to see about such fluff.

Aggies hadn’t done frick all in the Big 12. They had absolutely nothing to lose. Not exactly a stroke of genius to leave nothing behind for more money.
And what did they do with that decade head start in the SEC? Squandered it away while thumbing their nose toward a league they couldn’t win in.
