Beating Bama again would put A&M in the driver's seat for the West, so there ya go.

No team is in the drivers seat after 3 games. This ain't the Big12

Yeah, that worked out for the Aggies last year, also.

Bama for sure. Its a more prestigious and better program than LSU.

Bama. Sumlin becomes only the second coach to beat Nick twice (at Bama).

Bama beating Nick Saban in a "revenge" game. And solidifying the tiebreaker for the west.

Ill take that.

They know their beatdowns are coming either way.

Recent history would suggest that you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

As for the OP...atm should be happy as hell to get either of those games TBH. I wouldn't bet on the Aggies to win either one. I mean Bama is Bama and they are going to be pretty fired up after last year. As for LSU if you thought the LB corp was rough on Manziel lat year.....well I'd hate to see what happens this year. LSU's LBers may not be anything else but they are geared to stop a 6ft tall 195lb soaking wet dual threat qb.

anyone picking LSU is silly

Bama's not very far ahead of the pack, but for now they're leading the pack

2010 as well, and if you'll notice, that's why I said Sumlin would become the SECOND coach.

Bama without question. A&M and Bama both have easy schedules this year. Whomever wins that game has the tiebreaker to go to Atlanta. LSU has a brutal schedule with 4 very difficult SEC games, the odds are much better they lose 2 before playing A&M.

Thus if A&M beats Bama they likely can still win the SEC (and possibly get in the Natty) regardless of the LSU game. Lose to Bama though and the odds of Bama losing 2 more games (esp with LSU in BDS) are very, very long.

I think A&M, assuming Johnny is playing which looks more and more likely, has a great shot at both though and going undefeated. Johnny is a very competitive SOB and I think he can't wait to take out all of the crap thrown his way over the offseason on the rest of the SEC. He is not a guy I would want to have pissed off at me and without question Johnny is one pissed off dude that is ready to prove his doubters wrong. It amazes me how many folks have convinced themselves that the JFF that destroyed everyone in his path after the LSU game last year has disappeared.

Can't we let the season start before we start assuming things At the very least, wait to see how all the teams perform this weekend.

I'd rather beat Bama this season. We already lost to lsu last year but were the black eye on Bamas perfect year. When they come to Kyle and lose then we can laugh at how we are 2-0 in sec games against Bama whereas we can't do that for lsu even if we win this year.
