Pretty well. Significant statistical improvement in less than a year.

giving up 5.8 yards per rush attempt

opposing QB's completing 68% of pass attempts

I see a Broyle's award coming

I've watched a handful of your games and to me, it is clearly an improvement. Blows my mind that some of our guys are worried about a coach that left more than a 7-0 team. Guess it's the bye week, or the amount of shite talking from Jan-few weeks ago, or dare I say "rival"?

Better than last year. Hell better than I expected.

I expected a top 70 defense. It might end up top 60.

Really well - he is up for sainthood for not allowing 80 points v Ole Miss as our offense had a period all over the field.

Bama defense scored more than their offense.

I think your real question is how is Spavital working out?

Working out pretty damn well actually.

We knew LB was going to be an issue this season simply due to injuries and lack of personnel.

DL and secondary have improved greatly. And the LB's will follow as as soon as we have a complete LB corps on campus.

Spavital on the other hand....

I was about to say the same thing. Their defense is a LOT better this year. OM only scored 23 and Bama's offense only scored 20. That's way below both of their averages.

I don't like punching someone while they are down.

Chavis isn't the issue anyway.

Spavital is the problem, not Chavis.

We fired a horrible DC and got a top one. Will do the same with OC. Dolla bills yall.

Damn, I didn't know LSU was so hard up for cash.

If y'all need a loan from your rich relatives in College Station to keep the lights on in Tiger Stadium, all you have to do is ask. The SEC is a family after all.

Who will be Sumlin's fall guy after next season's implosion?
