My first and consistent impression is that a school like A&M should not being getting embarrassed by a school with so fewer resources like an OM.

Bama shouldn't lose to Ole Miss either but is has happened twice in the last few years.

Well yeah. I'd say the freakin Civil War is a bigger deal than South Carolina's football program.

Except Bama was winning conference and national titles when that happened. Those were games that slipped through the crack. Not 1 loss in a 4-5 loss season.

fwiw, this convo would be hitting a lot harder if it was coming from a fanbase of a football program that actually was more successful than ours but oh well

You'll have to also understand that getting called "little brother" by a fan of the poster child of little brothers everywhere doesn't sting much either.

How does what logo I have next to my name change anything that I said?

The truth hurts. And you know you agree. There is no reason A&M isn't way better than they are. Especially with what happened in Austin.

It was. And it was before Kyle Field upgrades were done wasn't it?

Also Spurrier quit the following year. Before the A&M game.

But ho hum.

I'll give you SEVERAL reasons:

Wally Groff
Ray Bowen
Dennis Franchione
Melvin Watkins
Bill Byrne
Mike Sherman
Mike McKinney
Rick Perry
Elsa Murano
Eric Hyman
Jim Wilson
Kevin Sumlin
Billy Kennedy
Billy Liucci
Brice Jones
Taylor Hamm

Not sure whether or not to add John Sharp to that list just yet.

50 years from now I still won't feel animosity towards South Carolina. It is what it is. Feels like a non conference game, I'm sure they feel the same

We lost by less than a touchdown with a walk on QB in Kyle Field during a 3 loss season?

Except for baseball for some reason. They get oddly testy on this board when they play us.
