They're not citizens of the ME, are they?

A potential starting quarterback for Texas A&M was arrested on a public intoxication charge outside a Northgate bar before dawn Friday.

Kenny Hill, a 19-year-old sophomore from Southlake, was taken into custody in the parking lot of Chimy’s on University Drive just before 3 a.m., according to College Station police reports. He has since posted bail and was released.

Hill was passed out in a planter full of rocks and plants in front of the restaurant-bar when officers arrived, police said in the arrest report.

When asked who the current president of the United States was, Hill reportedly answered “Bush” and told officers his name was “Kennedy,” authorities said.

Public intoxication is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a $445 fine.

During the 2013 football season, Hill played in games against Southern Methodist University, Vanderbilt, UTEP and Sam Houston State, during which he threw a 14-yard touchdown pass.

Eagle police reporter Andrea Salazar has calls for comment in to the A&M Athletics Department.

Ridicule, but not arrest.

We send 18 years olds overseas to die in the name of "freedom" when it hasn't been threatened in decades but people of the same age can't drink alcohol? Give me a fricking break.

Right... but he wasn't arrested for underage drinking (which I'm sure would be tacked on later)... he was arrested for public intoxication. He was passed out in a flower bed in front of a restaurant. He could be fifty and should be arrested for that.

Yeah, that's true.

Didn't notice that. I assumed, since he's only nineteen, that it was for MIP.

Again, that wasn't the point. We're talking about the United States... you know... the country where we reside? I'm not even sure why you brought up the ME.

Gotta say, pretty spectacularly awesome arrest story as these things go.

If you gotta get locked up for something, may as well have it go like this

Sounds like a young Eli Manning in the making.

Eli got arrested when he was a freshman and they asked him what Archie was going to say. He replied "Archie Who?"

I thought Texas had the "MIC" law where they can give you the equivalent of an MIP if it's obvious you've been drinking but aren't physically holding a container. I'm surprised they didn't stick him with that also

So basically he's going to win the Heisman.

Drunk as frick. Lied to cops about ID.

We've seen this story and it ends wonderfully for dear ole Texas A&M.

That doesn't make sense, even as a troll. You have plenty of hog troll role models and you waste them.
