I honestly don't care about any other fanbase or our 'relationship' with them. I dislike every team that's not LSU equally but some people are just a lot more stupid than others, especially on this board.

I didn't say you said it specifically, I said your fanbase on this site has spun in that way in general. Hell, any post insinuating A&M even had a shot in the ASU game was downvoted to oblivion

I'm just interested to see how the West pans out this year. TAMU and Auburn in particular are going to be interesting to watch mature under their new DCs.

No idea who'll win the division, but it's gonna be wild.

Wild for sure. Especially considering how this season has started out for LSU.

-Three new coaches
-Tons of players transferred/dismissed
-QB gets arrested
-Closed off practices
-OC gets cancer and no one knows about it
-HC gets rushed to hospital
-First game gets cancelled
Either it'll be a bad season or a great season - what Matt Moscona has said all along - feast or famine

I think LSU will be a tough dub for anyone, as per usual.

Y'all have a lot of questions, but the talent to answer them.

Sorry y'all didn't get to play, if you want honesty if y'all can put together a halfway decent passing game to keep defenses honest with your running game y'all are going to be scary good. The one thing in all of the Chavis back and forth that is complete fact is y'all have a lot of defensive talent and if Steele can put them in the right place y'all will be tough to get around.

FWIW, 8 plays has us pretty jacked up already. We saw stuff we haven't seen on both sides of the ball in 3+ years. It's a great time to be an Ag or a Tiger fan.

It'll also be interesting how the run game develops as the season wears on, as #5 has a lot of speed for his size.

The run game was going decent enough until James White (#20, Carson's backup) had to leave the game. He had 2 carries for 12 yards before having to come out. He's not AS big as Carson, but he's much faster and runs angrier (think Christine Michael)

Because of Kendall Bussey's injury, Jay Bradford's illness, and the fact that Keith Ford is ineligible this season due to the transfer, we were literally down to one running back at that point.

If this continues, we may have to put Kirk in at running back for a change of pace...at least that's what I would do.

Also, here were the players out for either injury or suspension.

RB - James White (injured during the game)

RB - Kendall Bussey (injury)

RB - Jay Bradford (illness - redshirting)

DL - Julien Obioha (injury)

DL - Zaycovan Henderson (suspended first 2 games)

DL - Justin Manning (injury)

LB - Otaro Alaka (injury)

LB - Josh Walker (injured during the game)

LB - A.J. Hilliard (suspended first 2 games)

We should be much improved when we get all of those players back...all with the exception of Jay Bradford are expected back before Arkansas.

Here's a quote from Swampy:

I don't want to put words in his mouth, so I recorded it word-for-word. I give him credit for knowing his own ignorance. Well done, Swampy!

Ya'll started about 15 threads begging for LSU's approval first thing in the am yesterday.

Thats not normal behavior

I agree on all accounts. Hoping the front 7 gets a little better by Arkansas. The team was missing 3 possible starters in Julien Obioha (injury), Zaycoven Henderson (susp 2 games), and AJ Hilliard (susp 2 games).

I have always thought this is a 9 win team, because of how the schedule shakes out. I will pump the breaks on 9+ until I see some improvement in the offensive line play.

Do you honestly think A&M could have a 10+ win season based off one win vs and over-rated ASU team?

I can assure you they are a lot closer to 10 wins than LSU at this point.
