This makes 2 weekend starters right? That sucks after a great start to the year.

At least they won the championship that mattered to them.

Never want to see anyone get hurt so hope for a speedy recovery for the young man.

Yup, Tyler Stubblefield was supposed to be our Friday starter and got hurt before the season even started. We are getting thin on the mound but should be okay moving Turner Larkins to the weekend, another injury though and things get really dicey

yeah, both our original Fri starter and now his replacement. Sundays are going to get interesting as I'm not sure what we're going to do. Neither of the midweek guys appear ready but hopefully Larkins can step up this week. He certainly has the talent but I'll be moderately surprised if he gives us more than 4 IPs

One thing I'll give Childress is he's never lacking arms. The question is if he can find one to make the leap to weekend starter without hurting what so far has been a lights out bullpen. I do think we'll find someone quite capable by year end but the next few weeks are going to be experimentation.

That sucks for A & M,and the pitcher; happens to all teams at some time and it stinks.

I don't pull against any college kid in any sport ( except for that Ms.State POS pitcher who through behind Katz's head & laffed bout it )so I am hoping both players recover & can come back next yr just as strong if not better. Sad news for any kid.
