I think Michigan will be much improved this season. Kinda similar to the Bama transformation from 2007 to 2008.
That said, this hand is a terrible matchup for Michigan. I agree that Denard will throw a few picks, but I think he'll make a few big plays to keep thd game respectable for a while. Eventually though, the difference will be Bama's OL and RBs wearing down the Michigan defense.
It would not surprise me to see Michigan go undefeated the rest of the season.

Unless their D is vastly improved, it looks like we could pound the ball with Eddie Lacy behind our O-line every play and they wouldn't be able to stop it. Tons of shitty missed tackles from their D.
Out of curiousity I checked their 2011 depth chart and they lost 2 or their top 3 tacklers along the defensive line from last year. The stats were from 2010 leading into the 2011 season but it's obvious they have 2 major holes to fill along the defensive line. They do return just about their entire secondary and linebackers though but the D lineman looks very inexperienced with a lot of production gone.
As for their offense, I'm just having a hard time seeing where the consistent threat comes from. Touissant looked like a very solid running back and somewhat of a break away threat and Robinson's speed and quickness can be tough to deal with but other than that I didn't see much from them in the Sugar Bowl to be too concerned. If we can neutralize their pass rush and give AJ time to throw then I thinkwe can pretty much score at will against them.

I agree. It's going to be hard to watch this game past the first half...
...past the first quarter, shite.

Bama "allows" Meatchicken to score a TD in the early part of the game and then shuts them down. Meatchicken will get into field goal range a couple of times after that and gets desperate and goes for it on 4th down resulting in 2 of Denard's picks - one of which is a pick 6. Bama's offense has them completely worn down and dejected by the middle of the 3rd quarter and will score at will from that point on.
I've already seen this movie.
