I think Florida pulls it out. Not sure about LSU. Do they have any starting ace pitchers left?
I would love an all SEC final though. We did it in football, we need to do it in baseball. Show the country that the SEC runs this crap!

Which is why it was so huge for the Oregon State/LSU winner that Florida lost today.
Instead of going in Game 1 of the championship series fully rested, Faedo will now pitch in Game 3 on only three days rest. Changes everything.

We did it in 2012 I think or 2011. SOUTH Carolina beat Florida for the title. I think in the 90s Alabama lost to LAU in the finals

You never know what you'll get out of Gator bats. Plus Sully is not a very good in game coach to me. I'd love an all SEC finals but I'm not holding my breath that the Gators make it. Best of luck LSU.

What pissed me off the most was that the entire Gator team looked like they did not give a frick about that game, including the coaches. Base running blunders by players and coaches, outfield errors, errors at the plate, errors for not knowing what base to throw to, etc. The effort last night should be very concerning today. They often act like they can just turn it on when they have to. Not a good recipe for success.
Every year it seems like we have the talent but Sully can't get the best out of it. I don't know what it is but when it counts the most, they just don't seem to perform. He's an excellent coach, easily one of the best in the business, but something is missing/off. He's becoming another Mike Martin which is not a bad thing but it's not title level.

That's got nothing to do with it. It's always amusing to hear fans speak of a team being "mad." I remember listening to Gator homers talk about LSU having no chance against the Gators in 2002 after UF unexpectedly lost to Ole Miss. "LSU shouldn't get off the plane", etc. The result: 36-7 LSU romp.
Emotion wears off at some point after the game starts and is even less of a factor in baseball.
If UF wins it's because Faedo gets enough run support and solid defense behind him. That's all he needs.

Florida with Faedo starting looks in a solid position to make it to thr finals. LSU is a big under dog today, but it's baseball we'll see.
