Say hello to Mr. Ray Lewis, he may have something to say about this...

Rewatched the game a while back and I agree. They shot themselves in the foot every time they got close. I'm not saying LSU had nothing to do with it, but Bama usually doesn't commit stupid substitution penalties and the like.

I wonder what the excuses will be on Tuesday. Y'all should start priming some new material.

Maybe it was something more intangible, like the intimidation factor perhaps. Threw Bama off their game because they were playing scared.

question: did LSU shoot themselves in the foot the times they squandered opportunity, or did Alabama make plays that stopped them?

Diarrhea probably.

Saban: "We went to Felix's because the line was shorter than Acme, but in hindsight we should have just stuck it out because man, Felix's really tore the whole team up."

No credit will be given to LSU though.

From what I recall of LSU teams, they are prone to committing stupid penalties,

Yes it is, for example on a simple iso. If everyone executes their blocks from lineman to the fullback the play will be succesful, but if a defensive players doesn't allow himself to get blocked thhe play will not work.

Who is the QB blocking in this scenario and why don't the defenders know how to tackle in a 1 on 1?

If LSU made mistakes that were under their control, then yes. Maybe the same types of mistakes against a lesser defense than Alabama wouldn't be so severe. Of course, flip both teams here.

If you're playing an unforgiving defense, stupid 5 yard penalties will kill a drive. Bama kept shooting themselves in the foot. Did LSU have a part in it? Yeah, they didn't let Bama get away with it.

You seem very angry about this. It must suck knowing that 6 in a row will be coming down on Arkansas in September.

Dear god, will the fricking whining stop? You douches disect every little thing that our players say. Trent and AJ have given plenty of props to LSUs performance on Nov. 5th. I swear, I have never seen I bigger group of fricking cry babies.

Your holier-than-thou act is getting tiresome.

I agree. It is slightly more irritating than the statfest and PSU pumping earlier in the season and much less amusing.
