TR's only big plays (with the exception of 1 or 2 pretty strong runs) were on blown coverages and dump-off passes. Other than that, LSU's D shut him the frick down. That's saying a lot, given he's probably the best back to play CFB in the last 10+ years (IMO).

So he doesn't get credit for this because it's a pass? That's your boy Reid getting owned by TR.

Bama's 2 INTs were gift wrapped (especially the 2nd one), and LSU's were both spectacular plays by the LSU defenders.

Wouldn't this point to LSU's offense having issues more-so than a diss against Bama?

Not really. He put up solid but not spectacular numbers against a fully loaded box.

Don't think the special teams play even needs to be discussed, other than to say that much to the dismay of butthurt gump fans, it IS part of the game. Kicking. Fielding punts. Punting. All part of the game.

If any Bama fans are denying this they are idiots. I have not heard any Bama fans saying this though.

There is no question in my mind that LSU is the better football team...

You beat us fair and square on our turf. Of course LSU deserves to be called the better football team.

Dre got outswagged by TM7 (swag-switch ON [OFF]), not to mention being outclassed by Mo Claiborne in terms of being a cover cornerback
(3) Eric Reid >>> Mark Barron

TM7 was a cheap player who was the weak link on LSU's D that night. He got beat on a play and had to make a dirty, desperate play to preserve his own swag instead of doing what was best for his team. Then he tried to apologize on Twitter without apologizing and blamed it on the way Miles coaches him.

Claiborne is better than Dre. Barron is better than Reid.

You are not going to get far putting down a defense that is #1 in the nation in scoring D, total yardage, pass D and rush D.

Congrats to you guys but at least respect that it was a great game with great players and coaches that either team could have won.

And Reid got some pretty good pops on TR3. Knocked the shite out of him head to head.

I watched the game twice on Sunday. I couldn't tell which team was better but LSU sure did win each time I watched it.
