Well, I guess there is no reason to get up at 0400 to not watch the game then. Last year they seemed to show most of their games. Internet is really crappy in my deployed location. Maybe they will show the Auburn game. And we do need a Military board.

No, they're not showing anything on the SEC Network this weekend.

I was referring to next week LSU/Auburn. Hopefully the games are better next week.

The only, and I mean only, NFL game AFN is not airing from week one is the fricking Saints game.

Are you serious? I only have AFN right now and I want to blow my brains out watching those shitty things.

THEY SAY IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY! IT'S MY BIRTHDAY, TOO!

I swear to God...if I hear that commercial one more fricking time I'm gonna burn this whole damn base to the ground.

This past weekend AFN did good showing the Auburn/Louisville and Bama/Wiscy games. Looks like they're gonna drop the ball this weekend.

I'm in Kuwait and have a Zain puck, though, so my internet is fine for streaming, even if it gets a bit "blocky" and pixelated at times.

AFN has always been clueless.

At least there is the internet now.

I had a family member Skype me just so I could watch the Arkansas game. The WatchESPN app doesn't work here in Japan, which sucks, but I've had a contingency plan before the season started.

As a veteran, I can confirm that LSU is unamerican and should be kept away from our troops.

It does if you use the "Hola: Better Internet" application and tunnel WatchESPN through it.

You obviously have to have a subscription, but you click the US Flag to initiate it.

As mentioned earlier, sqeakers the hamster was the business. That little dude haunted my time off in Iraq/Afghanistan. You couldn't look at a TV without that guys showing up.

Its amazing how quickly things change, I was deployed to Afghanistan Mar 2004 till Mar 2005 and had to rely on AFN to watch games and there was no internet. Fast forward 10 years and you have folks with internet in their bunks and having facetime with family members back home every day.

They used to only broadcast games involving military teams.

1984 and the Gamecocks were undefeated, having had already beaten Notre Dame, Pittsburg, Georgia, Florida State, et al ... I had missed the entire season living in Italy.

They were slated to be #1 ... all they needed to do was beat Navy in Annapolis and then move on to Clemson (which was the next game) and the AFN was broadcasting it (vs Navy) so I was going to get to see them play for the first time all season.

I did get to watch - broke my heart. Little known tailback named Napoleon McCallum owned us that day.

The rest is history ...

Temple is a damned fine team, and better than 90% of the SEC. Just so we're clear.

I'm not saying this because it's funny how they smashed PSU.
