While there may be some truth to that, LSU now having the consensus #1 recruiting class in the country would seem to bear out at least some of LSU & Tennessee fans' complaints regarding Chavis...that he doesn't recruit well. And that bowl loss to Notre Dame basically summed up Chavis' entire career at both Tennessee and LSU.
You now have two fan bases telling you the same things almost word for word. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Yea. Our questions have been answered. Our current DC has signed 3 times more LBs in the Last 3 months than our previous DC signed in 3 years

I can't speak for the posters that spend most of their day on the rant, but in real life, I don't know one LSU fan who has ridiculed Chavis. We appreciate that Chavis was able to produce at LSU, while we understand that there's an important distinction between building and maintaining a great defense. Chavis was asked to keep the car running at LSU, and for the most part, he did.
