And to be honest, if they can find someone better, they can get out after this year for a little less than $15 million to Kirkpatrick and with only 5,600,000 in dead cap space.
Or the Bengals can save about 5 million in cap terms by cutting him after 2018 in which case Kirkpatrick only gets about $23 million for the 2 years.
Not shabby in the least, but nothing approaching 55 million dollars.
