Not taking anything away from Oregon. They usually crush their schedule each year except Stanford. But recent years have proven SEC west dominance over Oregon. Wins over the vols at the level they have been at won't cut.it.

I know. You've built a pretty good bowl record over the years on those cupcakes.

The level of irony that sec fans have is astonishing.

Oregon 2014 is more talented in the trenches than we were in 2010 and 2011. Our team has had a rash of injuries, so we may not make it out of the PAC.

Below is the history of Oregon vs. the SEC over the last 30 years. See if you can spot the reason why you're not getting the respect you feel you deserve.

09/14/2013 W Tennessee (5-7) 59-14
09/03/2011 L LSU (13-1) 27-40
01/10/2011 L Auburn (14-0) 19-22
09/11/2010 W Tennessee (6-7) 48-13
08/30/2003 W Miss State (2-10) 42-34
08/31/2002 W Miss State (3-9) 36-13

You're good peeps, bison. You know I wasn't directing that at you.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the records of all 4 Pac NW Pac 12 schools vs. the SEC.

UW, Wazzu and OSU are a combined 2-27-1 vs. the SEC all time. Yikes.

Oregon is 5-6 all time, with 4 of the wins coming this century.

I remember as a kid going to games against U-Dub and Oregon State and LSU just mopped the floor with them. Long before I ever though of moving here, I had an impression of Pac NW schools as pushovers.

Obviously I have a lot more respect for them now as times have changed a lot here in Oregon and this is now my backyard. But the Ducks aren't going to get that final level of respect until they earn it. They'll get more shots with a 4 team playoff. Phil Knight should be lobbying like crazy for an 8 team playoff. He might be for all I know.

Like it takes much to see that Oregon has losing records against all but the worst SEC east teams.

So, let's be logical here. The premise is that Oregon has eliminated doubt THIS YEAR, so past history is irrelevant. Not only that but the deduction is that there were doubts prior to this year.

In essence, you are stupid.

"Get beat by two TDs by Auburn" we played them and lost by three.
I don't really care for the disrespect as long as it is can be justified. Some of the things the sec fans say can just be used back at them.
