Romo seems to be in a league of his own when it comes to not being clutch.

I've seen guys elevate their game when it counts, and I've seen talented guys choke under pressure. Romo seems to be in a league of his own as far as looking good for most of the game and the almost going out of his way to frick things up at the end.

I'd take McCarron easily after Barkley.

Whoa now.

You do know that McCarron finished ahead of Murray in terms of passing efficiency rating?

Tyler Wilson unsurprisingly finished ahead of McCarron in the same metric.

Murray threw the ball 75 more times, was sacked 19 more times and threw 9 more picks than McCarron last year, yet he only finished with .9 less of a QBR. Sure would help if he had Heisman Trophy candidates at tailback and an offensive line that actually played to its potential.

Marshall and Theus should help. McCarron likely to throw more this year and should have better receivers with more size and speed this year. He will certainly miss Trent. Hopefully, staff learned a lesson about throwing on first down that will carry over to 2012. I also hope A.J. has earned some trust based on his performance last year. I know he has gained more confidence than he began last season with.

get the frick out dude. i mean seriously, who the hell uses logic anymore

with a better backfield, an OL that can't get much worse and really is only gonna go up, and one of the best receiving corps in the nation i really think he has all the tools to become pretty damn good. that being said if he continues to be a turnover machine with the accuracy of the ginger then i am all for throwing him to the lions. murray has disappointed me so far and as a person he is kind of a homo but this next year may be the first time he doesn't have to do it all. which is a totally different situation than what mccarron had.

he was merely a catalyst for the running game and then a few long conversions. the dude was rarely called upon where as murray WAS the offense. i think it pure unadulterated nonsense to say mccarron is a better QB, murray pissed me the hell off but i wouldn't trade him for mccarron unless it was a damn package deal

i dont see what more he was supposed to do in the past 2 years. he's got 2 more left and things are looking good. so basically, this thread sucks.

Murray had way better WRs and TE's than McCarron. and the UGA Rb's were not the slouches you make them out to be.

McCarron doesn't have the arm strength of Murray or the mobility, but he does have better awareness which allows him to manage the game better.

I really had high hopes for him, but he will always be more Romo than Breeze.

Does he date a lot of blonde celebrities?
