I dont think A&M belongs in the top 5 until we beat Bama and Ole Miss. Until then, we're just a good team with the chance to beat anyone but not good enough to beat everyone.

The media are a bunch of lazy parrots...they look to see what team X did the year before and who is chirping about them and follow suit. EVERYONE predicted Ole Miss would beat us? Why? Because Ole Miss was # 3 and by God they must be really good.
Doesnt mean crap...media cant ignore us...we beat Mizzou and then slap LSU silly...we will be ranked high....and then we will have week off and go after the buttsniffers.

TBH, it's a coaches poll and the votes are filled out by grad assistants who look at the box scores. It means less than the AP poll at this point.

I have to admit that LSU hasn't earned top 5, but aTm and Florida shouldn't be there. The problem with top fives is that it's often difficult to up with five who SHOULD be there.
