Miss State is my favorite fan base that isn't A&M. Y'all are pretty friggin cool. I look forward to my next visit.

im jealous of their baseball atmosphere. i seriously couldnt figure out if that smoke was artificial or a result of the constant BBQing, just coincidentally blowing into the camera view when state makes a play.

I almost wrecked my car laughing when they said on the radio they were putting in a pitcher with a 10.4 ERA in a one run game in the 9th. Thanks for the gift coach.

Lol and you know what Cohen said in post game show? "Texas A&M did what a good ball club does and took advantage of a pitcher with little experience but I tell you, Jim, he had looked good lately (I guess in practice) yada yada yada. So I guess in a tight game you go to the bullpen and bring out a 10.24 Era pitcher who is probably a 18.00 Era pitcher now lol.

He definitely showed that he has good stuff. He just hasn't learned to effectively execute it yet.

I guess it's nice for the folks out there chowing down on the BBQ, but the place was surprisingly quiet tonight, really only getting into it in the 8th inning when MSU cut it to one.

Quiet? It's a baseball game. They seemed to get plenty loud at appropriate moments. The only thing that bothered me was see those sight lines once you go past the infield.

ive got to agree with twk, it was surprisingly quiet especially when they were expecting a possible record crowd. They just dont have the coordinated cheers that A&M & LSu do.

I love the atmosphere but thought they would be more into the game, besides the guy yelling at tony the ump! Guess cowbells make alot of fans lazy/uncreative.

The record crowd will be today fellas. Friday night's are ok but with the possibility of rain and people working the crowd was subpar.

I knew the game was over when A&M had runner on first with no out. They tried a sac bunt and State pitcher threw it to 2nd instead of getting the easy out at 1st. Instead of runner on 2nd with 1 out, it's runners on 1st and 2nd with 0 outs. That sealed the deal

You do realize all the runs in the 9th were ultimately meaningless since State didn't score in the 9th.

We really fell apart there in the 9th. Let's hope we got all of our bad baseball out of the way and win today and Sunday. A&M has a pretty salty team no lie

Come on now. Everything changes in the 9th if it's still only a 1 run game.
