I’m afraid this is what happens when you pay players over the top NIL deals and the transfer portal is an option at year end. It’s the NFL without contracts.

All kidding aside, this is what I have been concerned about with NIL from the very beginning. They have taken a commitment to an ideal or institution and turned it into simple economics. There is no loyalty to something greater than you. And when you are getting the crap knocked out of you on the field, you have to believe in something. Be committed to it.
