Because I get sick and tired of LSU fans getting free reign on this board to lie about kids who go to A&M and openly rejoice at reports that they did things that will result in them being thrown into prison. There is no accountability for the shite LSU posters say about kids who go to other programs.

He was already being called Kenny Football on ESPN. If you're Kenny Hill, and you're going to labor under an artificial, forced nickname for the rest of your football career, you'd be smart and do yourself the favor of steering the process towards a nickname that doesn't grate on your nerves. Possibly one you even like.

I agree with this.

Also, LSU fans would never, ever obsess over a player's nickname.

Wow. Maybe you should just find another site....

This is a great site. I hope I get to keep posting. It's a ton of fun, but it really is ridiculous what some posters get away with on this site.

You know full well that what you are saying is full of shite. You keep saying it to get me and other Aggie posters angry, because you think it is funny. But it's a lie. And Kenny Hill is a real person, a real young man.

Yes he is. As evidenced by the fact that he dubbed himself "Kenny Trill".

you've obviously never been given a nickname and are super mad about it.

Fortunately, LSU doesn't have any freshmen with trademarks for their brand.

I've been given a ton of nicknames. You see that's the difference between me and Kenny. I didn't get to dub myself, they were given to me by others and I didn't have a say.

Kenny Hill didn't make his own nickname. He was asked by a reporter in the locker room which of the names being thrown around by the public he liked best and then she said them all. So he answered that reporter's question

Yeah ok, good point. When did the reporter stick a trademark form in his face and ask him to start filling it out? And did the reporter file it for him with the fed's trademark office?

The difference between you and Kenny is Kenny is a division I QB starting for a nationally prominent program and you're just some guy who doesn't like how he got his nickname.

And if the nickname sticks, and he blows up and wins a Heisman, you think he should just not care if some random a-hole makes money off his fame?

To answer the question of OP: No, I just think there's an over excitment regarding Kenny Hill, which gave rise to some nicknames. I have no problem with Kenny Trill if the players and recruits like it. I doubt Kyle Allen or Kyler Murray will ever have a nickname.

Also, Baylor is just the worst.

All amateur athletes should know that their sole purpose is to be exploited for maximum revenue.

We are justified in being outraged if any amateur athlete does anything that might benefit themselves and detrimentally impact the God given rights of others to exploit said amateur athletes for maximum revenue.
