Manziel is Kliff's favorite, so this might be moot but... Showers has the team behind him because he can actually throw the ball. When Johnny arrived on campus he threw the worst ball I've ever seen. It looked like a deflated volleyball was coming out of his hand. Granted he's gotten better from how horrendous he was... But he will have to a lot more than a scrimmage performance to win over the team.

Showers is the only one that didn't get over 100 yards, 3 Passing TD's and a rush TD. I don't know why they'd believe in him
