Obviously, we're not on the same level as most of the SEC. We have, however, won the Peach Bowl against an SEC also-ran and the Joel Osteen of Mississippi. Not to mention a Rose Bowl victory, with an undefeated season.
Not too bad for as small as we are.

Not bad at all! But non-championship wins from 10 years ago rarely equate to long-standing brand recognition.
People won't forget about this A&M loss BECAUSE they have brand recognition, but any SEC loss hurts the SEC's brand, and A&M hasn't added many meaningful wins.

I can bag on A&M all day long, but take them over Mizzou 7 days a week.
A&M is a SEC school. Mizzou is the kid that transfers in mid semester that looks,acts and talks different.

A&M is not an SEC school. I guess when the standard they're held to is Missouri that makes them an SEC school
