Good game

So because we blew a lead we deserve to be screwed out of the game because of a faulty clock operator?
Posted on 1/21/17 at 1:28 pm to DawgNation4
You guys arent getting screwed if you could inbound the ball

Why do you keep posing as a UGA fan?

You shouldn't even have been in that position to begin with.

None of that is relevant but of course it's gonna be every aTm response.
we understand we blew the game, we watched. That has nothing to do with getting so egregiously fricked over on the last possession

We fricked ourselves plenty but we got absolutely jobbed at the end. This is division one basketball. You can't end the like that.

Clock operator has nothing to do with the school. It is operated by one of the officials doing the game.

Aggies have lost several close games this season.
This time we won a close game.
It isn't like Aggies beating Georgia is some big deal, we won by 34 in Athens last season.
Good game Bulldogs!

So if the game was a great back and forth where nobody screwed up, just good basketball, and we got fricked on the last possession, that would somehow be handled differently?
The 39 and a half minutes leading up to that sequence are irrelevant. The only pertinent info is that there were about 16 seconds left and Georgia was down 1. aTm ,add their comeback totally fairly, no issues. No one is taking that part away, just talking about the last possession here.

Fair enough. Didn't know that. Either way, it's on him.

As PG you have to be up with how long you have had the ball better than that too. Refs did right by the rule. Nobody on Georgia sideline even knew the clock had stopped. Fix the CF of a staff you have. Lear in bounds plays. Make free throws and game is over. You let them back in the game and karma will screw you

Somebody said they'd be pissed if they lost a UGA fan...it's hard to be pissed when we had a 9 point lead with less than 3 mins to go and we committed 9 turnovers in the final ten minutes. We are more upset about than than the rule screwing us. Althiugh we don't like either.

No doubt Georgia got screwed....but don't forget 16 sec left and A&M defended for over 17 without a Georgia shot. Somebody was gonna get screwed because the refs didn't catch the clock stoppage.
A&M's not goin' anywhere this year. Here's hoping this doesn't screw your tourney chances.

The turnovers ultimately go on the kids that made them in the box score but its 100% on Fox that he has no good inbound plays.
Inbound plays that have one player moving are incredibly dumb are a walking turnover against teams that are very active. I mean you can put it on the kids if you want to but on inbound plays there has to be more than one player moving without the ball and this is not happening. Its inexcusable and disgraceful for a coach to not get more than one player to MOVE without the ball on those plays.
I'm not a coach and basketball isn't my #1 (as a fan) but I have a lot more street sense than Fox has on basketball. Those sequences underneath the basket was asking for a disastrous meltdown from the start. If A&M had started pressing earlier, Georgia loses the lead much, much earlier. And its purely due to stupid inbound plays, not of team vs team. A&M is the more talented team, but Georgia is better right now and wins this game with any other coach the nation. Probably also beats Clemson and Marquette with any other coach.
