Looks like your losing a lot of seniors that were big contributors along with Moore.

Still pretty young at the corners and secondary, although a lot of talent coming in. We plugged some holes on the front with a JUCO or two and have some talented young guys coming along.

We will miss Moore, though.

Damn.

Will Jenkins be back? Cfbstats lists him as a senior, but I read a report that he will be back for 2013.

yeah for some reason he's been listed on our roster as a senior all year but he's really a junior.

Biggest losses on D will be Moore, nealy and porter. Our secondary wont suffer at all, but pretty much all our playmakers in the front seven leave.

Will be young, but imo more talented with better depth. Getting Sanders (JUCO LB) to replace Porter was huge...biggest question will be finding someone with speed rush ability at DE to pick up some of the slack with Demontre gone

Secondary should be better. I think it will actually be the strongest defensive unit.

Will replace 2/3 LBs -- Mike and Sam. Both were above average if not good players--particularly Porter. At least one replacement will be juco. The other either a juco or unproven Junior.

We lose our emotional leader, Spencer Nealy, on the line. Obviously Demontre is gone. Julian Obioha will start again at DE as a true sophomore. We're hoping Brandon Alexander, one of the most touted defensive players on campus, can sack up and replace Moore. Kid's supremely talented.

Kirby Ennis returns at DT - vastly underrated. You'll see 2 true fish on the inside as well, both highly touted. Both should hover around 310 come September.

Just a lot of youth and unproven depth.

It will be interesting. The staff will have to knock one out of the park.

we are losing:

DT - Nealy
honestly he will be a big loss. He's not super talented but just the energizer bunny. We really only played 3 DTs all year (and Mathis is also leaving but he was just depth). We have a 4* who redshirted and a few other meh players so it's probably going to be important that some true fish contribute. We've got several elite DTs coming in.

DE - Moore
Huge loss. He is our pass rush honestly, Obioha is the other DE and is a freshman. He looks good but needs to keep improving. Alonzo Williams is also a freshman and a backup. No real impact player in the recruiting class here either. There is a very talented SO who redshirted this year bc he didn't get along with the new coaches (Brandon Alexander). Lot of buzz around him lately that he's come around. Need this to be the case.

LB - Porter and Stewart
These two are huge losses as they are the leaders on defense. Soph Baggs is highly thought of and really progressed throughout the season and 2 JUCOs are coming in. Hard to replace the experience

DB - Du Harris/Terrell
Harris has been an enigma. He makes big plays and gives up big plays. Always has. Played much better down the stretch for us this year. Terrell was very average until this year when the light just seemed to come on. Even losing these two, the secondary is probably going to be a lot better next year (all our other contributors are Fr/So really)

No other seniors really were much in the way of contributors this year

More talented, more depth, less experience

If the jucos contribute...as good as this year

If 2 of the younger dline step up...as good as this year

If the big name recruits play above their head...as good as this year.

So basically, not a chance in hell we are as good as this year lol

So basically you lose two from all three levels of your defense? that doesn't bode well for you.
