There is zero chance that an undefeated Louisville gets to the championship game over a 1-loss SEC team. They're in a mid-major conference playing a mid-major schedule.

Doesn't really have anything to do with their schedule strength.

Louisville doesn't want any part of the SEC.

Yeah, Louisville had a shot at the title. They could have had it if they didn't make demands that were unacceptable. We already kowtowed to the piece of fricking shite that is La Tech and played them on the road. Had to. We were up shite creek on the scheduling front after realignment. Imagine Connecticut talking with LSU about a game, demanding a bunch of shite, then calling LSU out for "declining" in a spin fashion designed to make LSU look skeered. frick Louisville's retarded fricking arse. They are shitty and worthless and can ride a giant dick all the way to hell.

I have no idea what went down with this game or if your assertions are accurate, but this is a damn strong post.

I have no doubt they're accurate. We deal with Louisville every year and being a constant pain in the arse about scheduling our annual OOC game and whether it should be the 1st game or not.

It's a shame that Alabama matchup didn't happen. They would've gotten waxed.

I thought this rumor was debunked a couple months ago.

It's kinda hard to add Louisville when we have had a set schedule for a while...

Why in the hell would A&M agree to play a game in Houston when we can have a home game?

This was some kind of last minute proposal that didn't work out and am glad they considered the season ticket holder wishes.

Louisville has the worst CFB schedule I've ever seen - undefeated guarantees them nothing.

It wasn't a rumor

LINK

But that's besides the point, the point is it was a chance to pin a loss on Louisville who will have national media pumping them like a penny stock. If the SEC champion has 2 losses, things could get hairy. It wouldn't be out of the question for a 2 loss UGA, FL, or USC beating an undefeated or one loss SEC West Champion.

Which makes sense because Louisville was left scrambling to put someone big on their schedule after conference expansions because of just how bad the AAC/former Big East is until they move to the ACC.

But of course they're going to publicly play the "No one would play us!" card to try to garner voter favor.

ETA: And I don't blame any SEC school saying no either. Our schedules are tough enough with the conference slate.

Anyone asked why no one else with a far easier schedule in another conference hasn't chomped at the bit to play them? Why does it have to be a SEC team that steps in to play them?

That's the big problem - the hype machine and potential Heisman campaign of Bridgewater will have ESPN going apeshit.

Everyone will reference last year's Sugar Bowl as well (thanks UF)

LSU played in Dallas in 2011 and this year...they could have played home games too.

It's about doing a 1 game series as opposed to a home/home I'd imagine

I don't give a crap where LSU plays. As a season ticket holder I want as much value as possible and appreciate that happened. Screw Louisville, they could get somebody else to play them in Houston.

A&M already had their schedule set before there was any talk of Louisville. It costs a lot of money to cancel and pick up someone else.

I didn't catch the part where that's our problem. If y'all don't like it, schedule those retards yourself. Just remember to beat them like you should....looking at some of you....you know who you are.....

I would have rather had a game at Reliant to open the season and Rice in week 2 giving us 7 home games so we could dump Sam Houston State off the schedule.

Hell, we could have even done the Reliant game in week two so both schools could dump their FCS games.

I guess neither school wanted to pay to get out of previously scheduled games.

Writing one school a check to lose a home game and play another school for less money at a neutral site isn't the smart way to run an AD. This is esp true because A&M has Bama in Game 3 and everything depends on that game anyway.

Its a shame UK cant ever field a decent team worth playing. This is typical Kentucky fan, all talk. I hope we drop them after we take the series lead.
