How does UT feel about Darrell K. Royal being from Hollis, OK and playing for OU? He put UT on the map by winning your program's first 3 national titles and desegregating your university. Austin progressivism is due to him.

Yeah, I'm hoping one day Texas will play its cards right and find a way to steal the Sugar Bowl and move that bowl game to AT&T Stadium (Cotton Bowl) in Dallas. OU is tired of playing SEC teams in their own backyards (Orange Bowl and Sugar Bowl). Hopefully Texas bounces back so that our conference can at least be somewhat competitive.

That includes Whorns, too.

You do now that Missouri is in your conference. Oklahoma hasn't really had a meth problem in over a decade, unlike Tennessee, Kentucky and Mizzou.

I go back and forth.. on one hand I'm proud Texas for the most part plays with a higher standard. Then on the other hand I hate losing in state talent only to line up against them.

I've never judged OU for their actions, laughed maybe, but never judged. I realized a long time ago the "student athlete/amateur" line is bs.

My son was top 20 in his class, 31 ACT and denied admission into UT. If he added 10 mph to his fastball, cut .7 off his 40 or 6 strokes off his handicap he likely would've been accepted and part if not all of his education paid for.

The Mixon deal was brutal, I'm sure most OU fans/alumni felt that one. Having said that, unless you are playing the game perfect (few are), what difference does it make?

I'd be all for letting any kid in that didn't have a felony background. Stipulation being that the NCAA shared their true financials, dramatically increased distribution to schools for educational advancement/mom athletic scholarships and supported the non qualifying athletes with counseling and a curriculum that truly fit their needs.

as a die hard OU fan and a former student, had I got accepted to Texas, I'd be a Sooner fan in Austin. Year in and year out, UT is academic supremacy.
