A better question is when did you not enjoy a rival team failing, which would be one of the worst feelings, to debase yourself by cheering for you rival, only for them to lose anyway.

I honestly felt bad for Auburn in 2012.

I must say, I'm realllllly looking forward to watching Texas A&M lose to Texas one day. That game needs to happen.

I've now seen first hand how insecure those people are about their big brother. Is that game scheduled any time soon or are they all still bitter about the breakup?

Did you not see Texas beat them at home in 2011 when the refs helped UT get into FG range?

Yeah, this is a better question.

I didn't think about Tony Franklin era as oc lol Didn't the media pick AU to win the west that year?

Yeah I'm pretty sure they did. Tubby never fully committed to the Franklin system. He was largely to blame for the failure of the "Spread Eagle".

Yeah, but that was before they joined the SEC.

I need to watch the posters on this board when it happens.

That's why it's so important. It separates us from them.

I don't know, we went up 42-0 before the half and Saban called off the starters. It was like that kid on the Simpsons.

Auburn had a good defense that season if he would've just stayed with the pro style they would've won 8 or 9 games I think but Saban was killing him in recruiting one reason AU wanted him gone.

Not me. I thoroughly enjoyed their 2012 season. I just wish Saban had waited until 4th quarter to call off dogs in the iron bowl. I was hoping to match or best the biggest iron bowl blowout of all time.

Why??? Because most of those cowhumpers feel the same way about us. Screw me...no screw you.

Watching GT get absolutely stuffed by Iowa in the Orange Bowl a few years back was hilarious. A horrible Georgia team had just beaten them in Atlanta and their fans felt positive that Paul Johnson would have something special lined up for Iowa in that game. Iowa beat them like a drum.

Tubby knew that Saban was about to release the Kraken on his arse. He had to try something different.

That whole year was strange. Tubs was basically running a pro style O with 4 WR and in the gun all the time. Just a complete mis-match of coach and style, and he never committed to it.
you are also right, he was getting hammered recruiting. As bad as Chiz was at times, he and Gus both can at least accumulate talent
