I think this is the timeline that is important:

1st and Goal at FLA 7

(0:35 - 4th) Derrius Guice run for 2 yds to the Fla 5

(0:30 - 4th) Timeout FLORIDA, clock 00:30

2nd and Goal at FLA 5

(0:26 - 4th) Derrius Guice run for 4 yds to the Fla 1

(0:24 - 4th) Timeout LSU, clock 00:24

3rd and Goal at FLA 1

(0:10 - 4th) J.D. Moore run for no gain to the Fla 1

(0:03 - 4th) Timeout LSU, clock 00:03

4th and Goal at FLA 1

(0:00 - 4th) Derrius Guice run for no gain to the Fla 1 Derrius Guice fumbled, recovered by LSU Foster Moreau

LSU on Monday: Dangerous hurricane coming. We need to make contingency plans.

LSU on Monday: OMG THERE IS A HURRICANE COMING YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY EXPECT TO PLAY A GAME ITS TOO DANGEROUS. MOVE IT TO BATON ROUGE

UF: LSU is right. Its too dangerous to play the game. We are postponing it.

LSU: Wait, wait, wait.

The actual timeline:

June 29, 2017: There are 33 threads on SECRant about hurricane gate.

June 29, 2517: Loseranna legislature passes a resolution for a one day moratorium on discussions about hurricane gate of 2016, and approves a recommendation to the FDA to speed-up the approval process for a drug known as the "Get over it pill".

Florida beat us fair and square but saying that LSU refused to play anywhere else is a flat-out lie. The revisionist history here is hilarious

This is not the first thread he's posted that bullshite here either. This board bitches about the topic constantly being brought up, yet incessantly posts false information about what happened which guarantees that new threads by LSU fans correcting that information are made, and here we are talking about this shite every day into perpetuity.

But Florida straight clowned yalls punk asses.

Florida has in fact been able to control the narrative but not the facts. Facts are that every team from the State of Florida played their football game that was scheduled that weekend but the team from Gainesville.

Facts aside LSU has generally lost the narrative for sure...

Why are there so many dumb asses in the state of LA?

UCF which also happens to be within 2 hours of UF and considered in the projected path of the hurricane ALSO postponed their damn game, you idiot. Don't let the facts get in the way of your stupidity...

Hurricane Matthew forces UCF to postpone Tulane game

The same Tulane team that had to postpone a game during Katrina, where some other team, I think it was LSU who postponed their damn game too. You fricking Hypocrites.

Hurricane Katrina forced the postponement of five NCAA football games, including Tulane vs. Southern Mississippi at Hattiesburg and North Texas vs. Louisiana State at Baton Rouge.

How quickly they forget.

and did you hear any Tulane students get upset that UCF postponed the game? Not one fricking peep. Did you hear any Tulane student bitch, whine and moan that UCF was "scared" to play them? Hell no, who plays a game when there was a Cat 5 hurricane in harms way. No one can predict the weather. If that hurricane would have shifted just 50 miles more West, the entire state of Florida would still be recovering today.

So please spare me the "it was sunny that day in Gville". It was sunny in BR during Katrina but you postponed your game. We didn't question you so don't fricking question us.

Enjoy your travel to GVille the next 2 years. Many of you need to get out more anyway.

LSU refusing to play @UF during cupcake week 2. Joe Alleva running to the press to whine constantly - neither UF nor the SEC confirmed that he asked to play Sunday or Monday 3. LSU fans, in the face of a hurricane, claiming this was all about a football team being scared to play them when they were fricking 3-2 with wins over Jacksonville St, Moo U, and Pissouri. Real fricking juggernaut, right? It couldn't possibly be about UF protecting revenue and the state allocating resources out of our control.

Why should UF protect revenue and LSU should not?

It was a failure by the SEC to not make a decision or plan earlier in week.
