One day, maybe 30 years from now, we are gonna have a whole day without a hurricane thread.

I believe this board can do it.

Actual timeline:

LSU talks shite and challenges UF to a fight, and demands for it to be in Baton Rouge and refuses to play anywhere else, but they forget to check UF's knuckles.

Florida shows up to the Sonic and mudchecks LSU in front of God and everybody.

Actually the real story is:

Florida was forced to give up a home game, LSU got the home game, and lost.

That is the 100% truth. You not only didn't have to go to the Swamp, you got the game at home and lost. #Truth

So much wrong in this thread.

Our fan base is still the most emotional/irrational, but that debacle was all on Florida.

LSU offered to play the game on Saturday, Sunday and even Monday in Gainesville once Hurricane Matthew passed.

LSU also was also willing to accommodate Florida in playing the game that Saturday in Tiger Stadium by offering to help with travel to and from the game as well as with lodging.

Instead, we lost our home game against South Alabama(a whole game and easy win), lost next year's home game against Florida(90,000 drunk fans at night in Death Valley) and have to play in Gainesville twice in a row.

All for an empty stadium noon game with a flat team.

Yes we lost the CWS to Florida and they have a better team(see previous post on Florida before the championship).

I just think it's funny because so many LSU fans bitched and moaned then LSU lost in Baton Rouge because Ed Orgeron is the head coach
LSU lost in Baton Rouge because Jabar Juluke was the RB Coach and he didn't do his job during that last time-out. Didn't make sure that Guice knew the play and his assignment. That's why Jabar Juluke is no longer the RB Coach at LSU.

Your "actual timeline" is an opinion.

Florida beat us fair and square but saying that LSU refused to play anywhere else is a flat-out lie. The revisionist history here is hilarious

The people who are doing the most trolling concerning this are neither Florida or LSU fans

Actually the real story is:

Our AD sucks and looks like an incompetent boob. What's worse is he actually thinks he got one over on Florida by getting that home game last year and giving up two years of away games to him...what an idiot!

And so you post yet another thread about it.

You got beat anyway, so not sure why some of you insist on bringing it back up time and time again.

Consider this: If UF were pussies for cancelling the game, then LSU got beat by a bunch of pussies.

Things this post is missing:

1. LSU refusing to play @UF during cupcake week

2. Joe Alleva running to the press to whine constantly - neither UF nor the SEC confirmed that he asked to play Sunday or Monday

3. LSU fans, in the face of a hurricane, claiming this was all about a football team being scared to play them when they were fricking 3-2 with wins over Jacksonville St, Moo U, and Pissouri. Real fricking juggernaut, right? It couldn't possibly be about UF protecting revenue and the state allocating resources out of our control.

LSU fans can't admit how much it hurts their feelings that we have more sway with the SEC than they do. Foley dad-dicked them the week of the game, then went back for seconds on the rescheduling plan. Winning on their field was us just rubbing it in.
