I don't remember seeing it, pal

You might have but every other webel fan was crowing about making it to Atlanta and possibly winning your first conference title in 40 years.

Coming into the season, we were a logical choice to have a good shot to make it to ATL... that's all I can say about that. Preseason prognostications and rankings are always taken way too seriously

I wouldnt trade my college experience in Starkville for anything in the world.

It probably isn't much of bargaining chip.

Damn, if I had only been online yesterday.

Willing to bet a couple cases of Natty Lite and a few "last call" bar skanks would have done it.

Southern Stunna does not count as a person, fwiw.

Most Ole Miss fans were predicting 10-2
The SEC was unusually strong this year, so I'll take 8-4 to Dallas no problem.

I mean it would be nice if State fans would act like people when they win.

Still, It was a great season in what was probably the best SEC of all time.

I'll take it pretty happily.

shhh.
State's a go big or go home kinda school.

They either want to win a championship or come in dead last in the conference.

No room for mediocrity.

Agreed. Can anyone figure out when the last time 2 teams in the SEC went undefeated?

Or at least 1 team undefeated and another team who's single loss was against the undefeated one.

Hell, I'm pretty sure we had at least 3 teams in the top 10 every single week except for the last two.

Another stat:

Miss. State: 7 bowl wins
Ole Miss: 5 Sugar bowl wins

On CFB Data Warehouse, I didn't have to scroll down on State's bowl history page.

Digest this real quick.

If Every SEC team wins their bowl game:
There will be 10 SEC teams with at least 8 wins.

That's called having 10 teams with top 25 talent and coaching that have to beat each other up every year. And we're the team with the fourth best record.
Not too shabby.
Could have done better, but we just didn't have the depth.

Truth.

This was our best chance since 2003 to make a big push. But one thing we can't help is how good the rest of the west is. Bama is gonna be Bama for a while, LSU is "down" but still competitive as heel, Ark and Auburn are good competition, and definitely worth a mention is That Udder School.

We won a share of the SECC in baseball this past year. And our women are hotter.
