his robotic personality isn't why they wins titles though. lol who isn't going to win titles with the players he gets. he gets those players by pitching his previous titles and NFL experience.
before last year, Saban's title teams had never played a good team on offense in the title game.

If there is one universal Gump trademark, its gloating.

Hey, I like Dabo. He has done very well in his program. I will be pulling for him. I just can see the complete meltdown in the Bama fan camp if he goes and loses any game... "that was not the way Nick or the Bear did it" will be the cry.

that wsa a mistake if they hired him based on that game. Pitt got 5 bogus calls in that game. Four were on 3rd and long pass plays. if Pitt doesn't get just one of those bad calls, they probably lose.
if that game was refereed correctly, Pitt probably has at least 17 less points and probably 28 less points than it did.
they also called a personal foul penalty on Boelware simply for assisting in a tackle. you could tell a dossier had been sent to ACC refs about him being 'dirty'. lol
Making excuses like a gigantic pussy.

As Cecil Hurt of T-News stated well in his column, Dabo fits Clemson like a glove. That's why it's just as likely he would want to stay at Clemson for many more years. I have legit respect for the way he has built the Clemson program from scratch basically and have enjoyed his success.
The scenario I can envision in which he would be more open to coming to Bama would be if another coach follows Saban and does not do well, and then Dabo would come in and not have the immediate shadow of Saban weighing down on him.

to me, goofy is referring to what Saban does as The Process. lol When Saban lost to Okla and OSU in recent bowl games, what happened to The Process. lol
I upvoted because I think they are both goofy. They may not be edgy, and cool, but clearly they are both very good at their jobs.
Losses are factored into the "process' as well. Although not often implicated there is protocol there as well. I promise practice wasn't fun for Clemson the week after the Pitt game.
Now, Tillman, you throw in a loss from what, 3 years ago? When Clemson and Dabo lost not too long ago. Come on man, you are better than this.

Clemson fans have good reason to take pride in their program and what they've accomplished in recent years. But in no universe does Clemson = Alabama. What Clemson has done the last decade, Bama has been doing for the last 90 years.

Your post discredits what most here and primarily Bama fans argue. You argue that Saban is BY FAR the best coach in football. Even IF Dabo became your coach and became the #1 coach, the gap between He and the rest of the SEC coaches would be MUCH smaller than what Saban is to everyone now. I also believe and think it's logical that if Saban leaves other top coaches like Kelly, Grudem, and others are more likely to take that $EC coaching money because they have a better shot at becoming the new Saban.
Why you as a Bama fan would have so much insecurity that you can just enjoy your present success but have to argue hypotheticals of the future is beyond me.

I called him out on this before too. He will pick and choose stats to back up his opinion. He'll compare Bama's down periods to Clemson's. Conveniently leaving out past Bama dynasties. He then convinces himself that the two programs are peers. Homers are going to homer.

I just don't see why a coach would want to be the guy to immediately follow someone like Saban.

it cracks me up that bama fans who are always gushing over Alabama's football programs call other people 'homers'. lol you are bragging about poll decided national titles from decades ago.
that 'dynasty' only won 1 natty in 30 years b/t 79 and 2009.
it is about the coach. not alabama is some kind of unique place compared to similar sized universities.

no other program is self describing as a dynasty.

The biggest problem for the rest of the SEC is the coaching on their own team.
