Our defense right now (which is only slightly above average) is better than any defense Arkansas ever put on the field under Petrino, as is our offense (statistically, anyway). We have a much higher ceiling than Arkansas due to our recruiting base.
This is true. However, I think you under estimate the SEC as a whole. This is a pretty down year for the league. It is amazing how teams that are terrible one year are really good the following year. You will see. The turn around takes effect much faster than most leagues.

OP is Exhibit 1355 for why not a single frick will be given when the Man Milkers and Johnny Blue Balls come up a few dozen loads short in T-Town this weekend.

not really, the people who blindly think LSUs offense is garbage, have simply not watched LSU this season.
Oh no, I've watched almost every LSU game this year. You offense blows dick. Mettenberger's first good game since high school doesn't change that.

Hold on now. You're being very generous. I don't care that they beat the shite out of us in one of our worst seasons since joining the SEC, they are still below us in every way imaginable.

The difference is that ours puts up 600 yards and 40-50 points on most everyone else.
exactly, you pad your stats vs the medicore teams and shite the bed vs the big boys. It's happend twice this season vs LSU and UF and is about to happen again vs Bama. Get used to it.

Its held up all year thus far. And quite well, I might add. only one REAL SEC D to play the rest of this year. Thats on Saturday.
Lol someone show this kid the GIF of JFF getting teabagged by Freak.
Have fun running the score up on Ole Miss and Vandy for years to come. Bama, LSU and UF D's will continue to beat that arse until you decide you can run the ball between the tackles.

Sorry, you had your Chance this year and blew it.
Returning 20 starters next year and the game is in Oxford. We will be deeper, have another year under Freeze's system. Y'all are fricked.

they cannot get this through their heads. all they see is eye popping stats and highlight reel plays. They dont understand grown man football yet.

But who DOES score on those "big boy defenses"?
Spread option? Nope
Traditional I-formation? Nope
Single-back? Nope
EVERYONE gets slowed down by the "big boy" SEC defenses. The difference, again, is that those other offenses don't always light up everyone else. We do. What other offense in America can turn the ball over SIX TIMES and still manage 500 yards and 30+ points?
And for the record, nobody but WVU has put up more yards on LSU in the last three years than A&M did.

That one game came against the number 1 rated defense in the country in every aspect.
I think our O will be just fine next year.
You forget about injuries.
Go check the numbers when our O line was intact. We blew out a pretty good Washington team.

You simply have a different definition of good QB play, precisely because you're an LSU fan. Four years of Jarrett Lee, Jordan Jefferson and Zach Mettenberger tends to lower standards.

You people are scared shiteless, that we have begun a quick ascension into the upper crust of SEC football. What has happened in '12 will be compounded in '13. we know it, and you know it. Next season, the SEC can ride our coat tails.
